Q: I want to import a car into Morocco and take advantage of the 90% discount on import costs.

At the age of 60 years If you are a parent, you are entitled to a 90% discount on the import costs for importing a car into Morocco. To take advantage of this discount, you must apply for a declaration of consent from the Moroccan consulate. Once your application has been approved, you can import the car at a significant discount. You can submit a request to the consulate for such a letter of consent with the following documents: A valid Moroccan Carte Nationale A valid Dutch passport/residence permit An extract from the municipality showing that you have been living in the Netherlands for more than ten years.
